The infamous What Happens clan returns to Copenhagen's dance cathedral, that is Culture box. This time with an unmissable selection of spinners and the vibiest atmosphere and crowd.
Alex Tepper is the power behind the throne and one of the finest tech house producers of all time. Be damn sure you’ve heard some of the hundreds of releases that have been touched by his hands. Lately, under his own name he’s had tracks out on Drumcode, Tiefschwarz’s Souvenir, Rekids and Saved while early on in his career the partnership with Dockerty as Futureshock resulted in an array of stellar remixes – among them New Order, Chemical Brothers and St. Etienne. Touring with Underworld was not to be sniffed at either. Since those crazy, heady days as part of the Futureshock juggernaut, Alex has been collaborating regularly with Steve Lawler, Nic Fanciulli and a host of others, who’ve come to him for a sprinkling of Tepper magic with releases on Get Physical, Cocoon, R&S, Ovum and many others. He has also had a wildly diverse range of releases under a bewildering array of monikers such as Alex In Wonderland, Rhythm’N’Vibe, Latino Circus and X-Presidents.
http://soundcloud.com/alextepper/tracksSharing the bill will be Danish legend Tim Andresen who blazed to the top of the pile with releases on Fatboy Slim's Southern Fried, Mark Knight's Toolroom and UK's longest running house label Azuli. More recently he boosted his production portfolio with signings to Seamless, Elevation, DeepWit and Natural Rhythm while also throwing an endless list of remarkable releases on his own What Happens label. These days you often see people asking others to produce their music. Tim is not one of them. There are people who play records for fame and there are people who live and breath music and push the boundaries. Tim is the latter.
Red Box is now open. If you haven't yet seen our brand new room, then now is your time. To host the sexy surroundings we proudly present Bongo & Pusk. Two of Copenhagen's finest music ambassadors, they're behind their own successful nights like MTA, Just Freaks and Natmaskinen. This time, however, they will grace the decks and dig a lot deeper than what we are use to for an allnighter of colorful house and techno with attitude.
The doors open at 11PM with free Heineken bar until midnight included in the entrance (yup, feel free to drink as many as you like). The Cocktail Box next to the club is open from 9pm with preparty and What Happens' rising star Steffen H providing the music alongside Monsieur Henry who gets his WH debut.
