Culture Box Bar from 6PM

Regular opening nights at Culture Box are Fridays and Saturdays. Culture Box Bar are open Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Please check the calendar for the exact schedule.


Entrance

Entrance fees and opening hours above can vary on special nights. Please check the event infomation.

Presale tickets for Culture Box are available at Resident Advisor. Tickets are also available at the door.

Culture Box operates a 24 hour drinking licence and all events are open end. The minimum age limit is always 18 years.

There is no dresscode at Culture Box, however we do enforce an attitudecode. Please behave yourself in the cue and in the club.

Cloakroom

Jackets and any bags larger than a handbag must be checked at the cloakroom. The fee is DKK 20,- per item. Culture Box is not responsible for phones, cameras, and any other loose objects in open pockets, etc. Guests are solely responsible for keeping track of their cloakroom ticket.

Photography

Photography is allowed at Culture Box. However, the use of flash or fixed lights are not allowed without the expressed consent of Culture Box.

Currency

All prices at Culture Box are in Danish Kroner (DKK). All bars as well as the entrance and cloakroom accepts Danish Kroner. Culture Box also accept the most commen credit cards, including Dankort, Visa-Elektron, Visa, Master Card, Diners, etc.

The Golden Hour at Culture Box

Free Tuborg Gold always included in the entrance fee at Culture Box on Fridays and Saturdays between 11PM and midnight.

Awards

The readers of Electronic Beats placed Culture Box in the Top 5 of the very best venues in 2013!

In 2015 Culture Box won "Best Danish Club" at DDJA, for the sixth time!

Culture Box have been nominated every year since the venue's opening and have won the award in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2012, 2013, and 2015. No other venue have managed more than two wins since DDJA was founded in 2001.

Sven Väth, DJ Koze, Richie Hawtin, and Laurent Garnier have all been awarded "Best International DJ" for sets played at Culture Box in 2008, 2010, 2013, and 2014 respectively.

In 2016 inthemix ranked Culture Box as #13 of the world's best small clubs.

The Venue

Opened in 2005, Culture Box is not only the most prominent venue for electronic music in Denmark, but also used for a wide range of other events. During the weekends, the club delivers a solid line up of the best international and local artists of the underground music scene.

Located next door to the club is Culture Box Bar, delivering a more chilled vibe and a wide selection of cocktails and more.
